The tempering is a heat treatment applied to iron alloys, such as steel or cast iron, to achieve a greater hardness of the alloy. The increase in hardness is accompanied by an increase in fragility. Tempering is usually carried out after tempering and is sometimes considered as the same process since a tempered and non-tempered steel is not very usable due to its high brittleness.
Tempering is a treatment to a material in order to decrease the tension of the tempered material. The fundamental purpose is to reduce the great fragility that steels have after tempering.
Controlling temperature, time and pressure in pieces of thin wall to rectify the deformation caused by the temper and to diminish the fragility.
Thermochemical treatment in which carbon is added to the surface of a piece with low carbon content by diffusing a carbon-rich gas without affecting the core of the piece.
Surface hardening treatment, thin film formation by diffusion of nitrogen and carbon on the surface.
Treatment applied to steel parts with low carbon content generating a surface layer formed by carbides and nitrides to obtain a high resistance to wear.
HEAT TREATMENT SERVICES

Surface treatment: carburization, carbonitriding, gas nitriding, soft nitriding with gas, gas nitriding by sulfurization, quenching and tempering by induction; Thin Film Formation Treatment: physical vapor disposal, vanadium carbide.
BATCH FURNACE
Batch type furnace controlled atmosphere with security vestibule to prevent the entry of oxygen during treatment, capacity 500 Kg per batch for treatments such as weathering, carburized and carbonitrurado.

BATCH TYPE FURNACE IN CONTINUOUS
Batch type furnace in continuous controlled atmosphere, to perform carburized and carbonitrurado, has integrated vacuum washers in the entrance and exit, capacity 400 Kg per batch, roller house type in hot oil.
CONTINUOUS FURNACE MESH TYPE
Furnace mesh belt type or continuous mesh band for weathering, carburized and tempered, capacity of 700 - 900 Kg / hour in quenching and tempering, 300 - 350 Kg / hour in carburized, according to specifications of the materials.
CONTINUOUS OVEN FOR FERRITIC NITROCARBURING
Continuous batch type furnace for ferritic nitrocarburizing, has vacuum washers integrated in the entrance and exit, capacity 250 Kg per batch, roller house type in hot oil.
PRESS TEMPERING
Press for pressure tempering for thin wall parts in a mold designed according to the original characteristics of the piece. 3 molds per press. Robotic manipulation through artificial vision recognition systems
VACUUM WASHER
Vacuum washing machine that uses hydrocarbon-based solvent and nitrogen bubbling to ensure the cleaning of materials, eliminating residues of oil, coolant and other particles before and after heat treatment
BATCH FOR TEMPERING
Batch type furnace for tempering, capacity 500 Kg per batch, cooling at the exit for better material handling and safety.
